NEW TOOLS

New tools have appeared on the blog. The weekly poll is one of them. It will be refreshed weekly and sometimes player made polls will be made. Second of all will be the link list showing sites that the BRC is somehow connected to.

New Style

The new style of the posts is even better showing quick news flashes and sneakpeeks. In the center is the news with sub-titles and sub-sub-titles. Also the search bar has changed color from blue to black thus adding to the BRC colors.

First of all you need a good item. For example you have a Rune Battle Axe. You need to find a BRC approved merchanter. You ask him to merchant your rune baxe. You tell me your item (for security reasons) I will give you a insurance type. You give the merchant the the amount of profit you want. For example you want 50k profit. That means in value you will have around 100k. The merchant must then get 100k + 10%(clan merchanting tax) + (100k/10)% (merchanter profit) = 120k. Once the merchanter gives you your money you must pay him 50% of the merchanter profit. Thus you get a total value of 95k. Here is some basic information:

How to get BRC approved...

First of all you must use your first account (main). You must contact me to get a test. You must have no blackmarks on your account and must know how to use forums. Then I will think if I trust you. Once your done you must do the BRC merchant pact. I will give you an item that will stay with you for a certain time. At the end of that time I will require the exact item and you must give it to me if you don't you will be fined and will not be BRC approved. During BRC merchant pact you must tell them you are under the pact and are not completly BRC approved.



How to know how much you need to merchant...

For the following equation you must use the average price of the item.
(A+B)+((A+B)/10)+((A+B)/C) = Answer
A= average price.B= how much the client asked for.C=percentage for merchant profit.
The merchant profit is given in the following text.

Average price =5k-15k Merchant Percentage= 5%
Average price =16k-30k Merchant Percentage= 7.5%
Average price =31k-50k Merchant Percentage= 10%
Average price =51k-100k Merchant Percentage= 12.5%
Average price =101k-150k Merchant Percentage= 15%
Average price =151k-200k Merchant Percentage= 17.5%
Average price =201k-300k Merchant Percentage= 20%
Items over 300k or under 5k in value must be merchanted by yourself

Insurance can be bought or given.
Items over 20k get a free insurance to a certain level.

20k-60k Basic Insurance

Merchanter Questions...

Merchanter: I want to work over the percent I am supposed to get for myself can I.

Black Raven: Ask the owner if you can merchant his item for a bit more to get extra cash you can't do this if you are under the pact only if you are completely BRC approved.

Client: Where does the insurance money go to that I buy?

Black Raven: If the item is stolen it goes to your repay if not it is not refundable and will go to someone elses need. If there is no such need then it will remain till someone needs it.

Technical Problem

As you can see the post jagex has two bottom panels. I am currently trying to fix this. Here are some photos of the situation. When clicking on the more bottom you will see the title is "untitled". When clicking on the top everything is ok. I will comment on this how things go.

Ultra Post's New Look

Ultra post's new look is now better than ever. It consists of only one big post than many little ones! Thus causing the order of the posts to be unchanged. If version 3.0 is this good what might version 4.0 look like?

All the features of the series 1 have not been added on yet but some have. One of the features is the "Ultra Market" the Ultra Market is basically a market on the clan blog. Just like on forums. There is a certain format all must follow. You must put a title then the content. Finally you must sign using your runescape user name. The comment will be deleted and posted on the Ultra Market. Unfortunately, it is on a separate post for I have not figured out a way to do on one post. This is the only part not on the same post. The next feature is the "Ultra Ideas" this is where you can submit any ideas for events or posts. All you have to do is comment the Ultra Post with a title of Ultra Idea. Your comment will not be deleted and your idea might be used.

Although not all new stuff has been added I will explain the future ideas I came up with. Ultra Movie where you can see a movie that the clan made. Hyperlinks where you can just click and read the article you want. Ultra Mail where you can comment and a email containing the Ultra Post will be sent to you. Clan Person of the Month where a person is chosen to get the award of being the the Clan Person of The Month!

Video Edited Version

Aside from this video, I will give an extra hint on one of the biggest events that will happen in the clan... We are going to make a movie and I will be holding auditions. These auditions will be video edited into a few clips to make a clips on the auditions. Then a big use of GP will be in need we will buy lots of propos to make the movie. BIG CHANGES

I have made even more ranks. Which Gold Admin IceAxe has shown. Guess what you can be recognized not by power but by non-combat skills. Here are something you should read:

To get your NCSG [ Non-Combat Skill Grade]

First add up your attack, strength, defence, magic, prayer, and range. This will give you your CSG [Combat Skill Grade] You will get a number for example:
[These are not my stats or anybodys stats]
Strength 50

Then take your total level and subtract your CSG from it. Thus giving you a number. Example:

Volunteering

You must volunteer to become an admin and ask to be put on the list.

Interview

You will be tested by the Black Raven in a formal interview. This is one of the most hardest parts. He will test on dress formality, grammar, interest, and a written part. The written part is when he gives you a paper which you will write a blog sample on that must be about the clan. This blog sample will be posted up in exact spelling, grammar and style. No changes will be done to it. To pass this part you must get at least a 85/100 on the blog sample. It will be graded by me and the Black Raven.

Training Part 1

This will be runescape logic and skills. The Black Raven will test on speed, accuracy and efficiency. He will not over test by giving you tests on what you are unable to do. There are minimum requirements: lvl 25 magic, 200 total level, lvl 20 crafting, lvl 40 combat, lvl 10 ranging, lvl 15 smithing, lvl 20 mining.

Authorizing

This is one of the easy parts. You must simply write your email for the blog so you can get an email letting you be part of the Admin Group. This can also lead to promotion ingame!

Training Part 2

This will test your imagination. You must create 2 clan events you must explain the events in full detail and you must get a minimum of 90/100. You may not copy already created events.

Ceremony

If you have pasted the whole Nomination and you the only one remaining you will get to become a Bronze Admin

Wilderness Walk

You might be wondering why I put 3 wilderness walks on the table of contents. There actually will be 3 of them! This is the first wilderness walk which is nicknamed "Chicken PK party". To attend you must have the full chicken suit not including the rubber chicken. You must bring a weapon, food, and anything else. WARNING: If you die during a Wilderness Walk it will be your loss and cannot be blamed on the clan!

At the final level you will have to kill 3 ice warriors or ice giants. You get the LVL 3 reward. You can exit the event at anytime and collect your prizes later. I didn't have the chance to take photos during the action so sorry. The stats for today:
Mykrominer
27 salmon cooked, 51 trout cooked, 22 fish burnt [Ash Reward]
Pked: 1 person with a bit of help from Gaser33
Battlecity0
14 salmon cooked, 16 trout cooked [no reward]
Pked: None but got attacked by a lvl 86 and teled away
Doumham
55 salmon cooked, 54 trout cooked [1st place]
Pked: 1 person with a bit of help from Mykrominer and Gaser33. Gaser33 hit the final hit but Doumham hit him to that hp amount.
Thank you for reading and I can't wait for next months events. The Train-A-Palooza is cancelled.

Again we are called to battle there are the same standards as last time execpt there will be only members and a member world PK party trip.

TRAIN-A-PALOOZA

How do I start:
-Meet me at the starting place. There give me 1 bone.

What Do I Do:
-Everyone will travel as a clan and since we are doing a Combat Event bring your best armor, weapons, runes, food and potions. There are 5 spots we are going to train at. These are named Lvl 1-5. Lvl 1 consists of lvl 2-17 monsters. Lvl 2 consists of lvl 18-28 monsters. Lvl 3 consists of lvl 36-42 monsters. Lvl 4 consists of lvl 53-57. Lvl 5 consists of lvl 60+


Where will it be:
-We are meeting at lvl 1 which is Barbarian Village.

Rewards and how do I get them:
Beat lvl 1 = 2 clan points
Beat lvl 2 = 3 clan points
Beat lvl 3 = 30gp
Beat lvl 4 = 4 clan points
Beat lvl 5 = Chance for getting MVK, MVP, MVW, Honor or BOCM Award and 5 clan points
[MVK = Most valueable killer, MVP = Most valueable PKer, MVW = Most valueable worker, and BOCM = Best Overall Clan Member]
Beat all 5 lvls you can get a max of 14 clan points and 30gp.

Cook-Off Information (ULTRA-POST)

COOK-OFF INFORMATION

The Cook-Off is coming the date is still not know but will be told before the event happens. This Cook-Off will be judge against normal traditions. It will be graded in quantity NOT quality. Here is an outline of the whole event:

How to start:
-To start you must pay 100gp and 10 feathers for your first 10 fish.

What to do:
-You must have lots of feathers. You give 10 feathers to me I go Fly-Fishing and return back with 10 fish (these fish are either salmon or trout at random). You cook the fish and keep all of them burnt or not in the bank. Then again you give me 10 feathers and I return with 10 fish.

Where will it be:
-I am debating between Edgeville, Barbarian Village, and West Varrock Bank.

REWARDS AND WHAT TO DO TO GET THEM:
[ten fish (can't be burnt) are 1 fish pack]
5 Fish Packs = Bronze Reward
10 Fish Packs = Iron Reward
15 Fish Packs = Steel Reward
17 Fish Packs = Mithril Reward
20 Fish Packs = Adamant Reward
22 Fish Packs = Rune Reward
25 Fish Packs = Dragon Reward
30 Fish Packs = Chef Reward
Most amount = 1st place Reward
Second Most = 2nd place Reward
Third Best = 3rd place Reward
Most Burnt = Ash Reward

Special ...:::*:::... Report

As you know during March there is a Cook-Off and the Fundraiser. There will be a third event! Unfortunately you must be have a member status in Runescape. This event is special and will be revealed only in March. Events that happened during the wilderness walk will be told in one of the first posts during March.

All people that attend this event will get a number of clan points. Clan points will be given out in the following way:
-Attendance 2pts.
-PKED amount 1pts. per PKED PERSON
-Following orders 2pts.
-Participation 1pts.
If you PK only one person you still get 6pts. total. If many people are attacking a single person what happens. Everyone gets a point.
What do I do with points?
-Use them in the Clan Point Shop

A Preview Of March

Hello Clan Members,
1 day before the spectacular wilderness walk. In this post I will explain what happens during the month of March. During the whole month of March the clan is having an inside-only fundraiser. Only clan members may add to the total amount raised. USA currency or any other currency will not be accepted only the Runescape "GP". Of course there will be rewards. [More specified during a March post.] March's biggest event is the "Cook-Off". This cook-off will have rewards, training, and FUN! More about the Wilderness Walk will be posted in the next post.

Wilderness Walk The Call

So you have heard that the wilderness walk is coming. Comment on this post if you would like to attend. You must meet the requirements:

-Lvl 50+
-Bring your own food and armor
-armor must be black or better
-Must be able to hit 6+
-Must bring a good weapon
-Must be mithril or better

The time and date is set!
We will meet at 6pm on tuesday the 27th in Varrock center.
Again I remind you all to comment if you are able to come.

The King Black Raven

The King Black Raven as you read in the poem has drawn an axe and saber. This means the wilderness walk is coming. Now another part of the great King Black Raven Clan history.

The warriors charged,
With the winged beast infront,
The warriors barged,
Right past the foes.
The foe was blunt.

The swords clashed ,but not one knew who would win.

Wilderness Walk

The Wilderness Walk where we will go PKING. The time and date is not specified ,but more information will come. There are certain requirements:

-Must be level 50+
-Must bring own food
-Must bring armor that you are able to lose
-If you have no armor that you are able to lose you will be given a free steel chain-mail and steel legs

Attending this Wilderness walk will give each person 2 clan points. Contact me by my clan e-mail or player message me in the game.

Black Raven

Many people have asked me the questions "Why black raven? Aren't all ravens black?". All ravens are black and sometimes shimmer blue-black in the sunlight. Black Ravens are mysterious and haunting. They usually set a scene for a scary story. It was a symbol for witchcraft ,but now for a clan.
